I've navigated this tricky time myself! So I can appreciate that it often presents strange and unexpected challenges. There's no 'one right way' to do Menopause! Because we're all different and have different needs, bodies, lives, and desires. Where one woman might find liberation in an area of menopause- (For example, around fertility or sexuality), another woman might feel a sense of loss and need to grieve for a while. NB: The Role of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT): Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), particularly topical vaginal estrogen, can be a game-changer for many women during and after menopause. As estrogen levels decline, it is well known and scientifically well established that vaginal dryness and thinning of the vaginal walls can lead to discomfort during sex. Topical treatments can physically support you and allow you to fully engage with pleasure and intimacy without fear or discomfort, creating a strong foundation for sexual exploration and fulfilment.
