*This is just a small sample of the issues I work regularly with. If you don't see your particular issue here, please call me to discuss and I'll be happy to offer free advice.

MY SPECIALISMS:

My specialisms include anxiety, mind/body issues, voice (both physical & metaphorical), self-compassion, and authenticity. I've also worked with a great many clients in creative professions.

MY APPROACH:

My approach is integrative and person-centred. Depending on what's required, (as informed by my training, below), I may draw on the following modalities in my work: CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Psychodynamic counselling, Jungian psychoanalysis, Compassion-focused therapy, Cognitive and Solution-focused Hypnotherapy, Neuroscience research, Trauma research, Somatic therapies, Gestalt therapy, Positive Psychology, and TA (Transactional Analysis).

I recognise every client as being unique, with their own individual talents, strengths, and journey. Therefore, I don't have a cookie cutter or 'one-size-fits-all', generic approach.

I aim to focus and build on your strengths as well as confront and process your challenges.

I work holistically, meaning I consider all elements, (physical, psychological and environmental), which might be impacting a person's wellbeing.

I am committed to keeping up-to-date with cutting-edge research and developments in my area and using only the best, evidence based techniques. I have a keen interest in all areas of health.

I abide by the GHR and the UKCP code of ethics; and am a fully qualified and fully accredited member of the GHSH. The UKCP is one of The most stringent governing/accrediting bodies in the UK for psychotherapy and counselling.
